Join us for Washtucna’s July 4 celebration at Bassett Park. For decades the Lion’s Club of Washtucna, with the support of other community groups, spearheaded a July 4th celebration in Washtucna for the local community. This time-honored tradition is worth the trip, and coupled with a visit to Sonny’s Washtucna, it is sure to be an event you won’t want to miss. The park celebration will take place July 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and consists of three main components: a youth parade, community picnic and horseshoe tournament at Sonny’s Tavern. 16 teams of two will complete in the elimination style tournament and the winners will receive the grand prize and a trophy displayed at Sonny’s!
